A sample day from the plan

Day 1
  • Slow lines (10 min): Draw a straight line and a circle slowly, five times each. Compare the first and the last.
  • Pick up small things (10 min): Use tweezers or your fingertips to move ten small objects, such as lentils, from one bowl to another. Note the time.
  • Aim at a target (10 min): Tap or click on ten small targets as precisely as you can on your usual device. Note the device.

Your plan is built from your own choices and starts with the task you find hardest.

What it cannot tell you

  • It is not a measure of fitness for any job, and must not be used for anything safety-critical.
  • A mouse, a trackpad and a touchscreen give different results. A comparison between two devices is not a comparison between two people.
  • It is not a medical or motor-skills assessment.

For adults, 18 and over. This is a practice and reflection tool. It is not a test of ability, a diagnosis, or advice about a job, a course or your money.
