Day 1
- Name the three that cannot move (5 min): Each morning, name the one to three tasks that cannot slip. Everything else may move.
- Plan with a deadline and a dependency (10 min): Write tomorrow’s tasks. Against each, put the time it is due and what must happen first.
- Decide before you switch (5 min): Next time you are pulled to a new task, write in one line what you are leaving unfinished and when you will return.
- Pause before a yes (5 min): Before you agree to a new request today, ask: what does this push back, and does the person waiting know?
Your plan is built from your own choices and starts with the task you find hardest.
What it cannot tell you
- It is not a management, leadership or emotional-intelligence rating, and there is no productivity score.
- The days in the tasks are made up. They do not predict how a real working day will go.
- It cannot tell what caused a good or bad day. The week experiment only counts what you noted.
For adults, 18 and over. This is a practice and reflection tool. It is not a test of ability, a diagnosis, or advice about a job, a course or your money. The price is one payment with nothing added at checkout. All sales are final: there are no refunds, so read what it cannot tell you and the sample day before you pay.
